For saleis a Pittsburg and Lake Erie (P&LE) Handlan single guard, wire bottom railroad lantern which I believe is either their model #174 or #177. The lantern has \"P&LE\" stamped into the smoke dome rim and has a last patent date of 1-2-12 on the bottom of the fount holder. The lantern is tight and free of rust or pitting. It comes with a drop in fount and an outside wick raiser that are also both free of rust or pitting. The lantern has a standard 5 3/8\" clear globe with \"P&LE\" cast into the globe\'s rounded corners panel. The globe is free of cracks or chips though the top and bottom rims are slightly rough.
