A rare Irish Belleek cup and saucer in the Echinus pattern decorated with turquoise and pink raised enamel accented by extensive gold highlights on a mother of pearl luster ground. Both cup and saucer are monogrammed in gold and matching turquoise enamel. Condition is mint with no damages or wear. In addition to the scarce 1st red Belleek mark both pieces have the retailers Whyte and Sons on Marlboro Street in Dublin mark plus the British registration stamp of the period.
