Adorable antique very early humped mohair teddy bear, dating from 1900-1910s
made of gold mohair,

stuffed with wood-wool throughout the body and head,

fully jointed,

has got original boot-button eyes,

pronounced clipped muzzle with slight repairs,

black stitched nose,

inverted Y shape mouth stitching,

original well loved felt pads recovered with felt,

five claws stitching to feet and four claws to paws, with couple stitches worn-out.

Hump,

final seam runs to the front,

possibly has got inoperative cardboard squeaker in this tummy.

Teddy Bear is approx. 16\" (41 cm) tall.

Condition - item is in good antique condition with some general wear and thinning, few balding spots, joints a bit loose, but still secure.
