Here is a rare antique Ideal (American) Teddy Bear, many believe Ideal created the first Teddy Bear. This one dates from around 1910. He has golden mohair, black boot button eyes, a black cloth nose, which should have black stitching over (missing here), black stitched mouth and claw stitching.Swivel head, jointed limbs with shaped hands and feet, felt pads, hump and inoperative squeaker.This lovely American chap, comes with his jolly neck scarf.In nice condition.15in.
