Stunning vintage rare to find coloured plush Chiltern Hugmee teddy bear, dating from 1950s,

made of very soft blue colour cotton? plush,

feels to be stuffed with kapok and wood-wool throughout the body and wood-wool in the head,

fully jointed,

has got amber and black glass eyes, right eye is possibly replacement,

black vertically stitched nose,

inverted V shape mouth stitching,

original velvet pads are in rather loved condition, left foot pad has got repair and right foot pad has got small hole,

velvet rather worn revealing cotton underneath, generally - still solid,

remains of three claws stitching.

Has got inoperative squeaker in his tummy.

Approx. 19\" tall.

Condition - item is in good vintage condition with little general wear and thinning, head a bit dropping on to his chest, but nothing to worry about, discolouration in places. Please note, my camera doesn\'t reflect how colourful this bear is, \'in flesh\' he shows more colour than on photos, but of course, there\'s fading and unevenness. Still very good for the age.
