Offered here is a very rare original brass 1896 Leadville Colorado Ice Carnival Ore Bucket souvenir pin back badge. Includes the metal top bar of mining tools, top bar almost always missing. Measures 2.75 x 1.75. Front well detailed with the ore bucket rim stating $20,000,000 the likely value of silver ore mined to date, and the reverse showing the famous Crystal Ice Palace in relief. The Ice Carnival was held January to March of 1896 in buildings constructed entirely of ice to attract tourists to the town. Great piece and tough to find in any condition. Thanks for looking!
