Tin litho fisherman with rod & tin fish wind up action toy, Germany. Approx. 6” tall, no makers name, but marked made in U.S. Zone, Germany. Attached wind up key underneath, works well, spring intact. Could probably use a drop of oil to move smoothly. Made circa 1950 (“US Zone Germany” marked toys range date is 1945 – 1952). This hard to find toy is in amazing condition, no scratches, all parts present, colors vivid. Box is good, just puffed out a bit, indented at bottom, split one side, one staple missing,but complete & graphics are great. Fred spins around when wound up with key. We’re not toy experts but this one looks really good to us! Please look at photos carefully and ask any questions. We’ll be listing many similar items in the next weeks & months, from the estate of a 90 year old woman who, with her husband, saved almost all toys from their childhood and as collectors, many in original boxes.
