Rare Moser Japonesque Vase Enameled Bees Butterflies Applied Flower Mat-Su-No-Ke
Price: US $375.00

Sensational rare antique blue glass vase with appliqued flowers and leaves on the front of the vase; applied clear icicles and rigaree at the top. The vase is beautifully hand painted with bees and butterflies around the flowers. Gilded leaves are intertwined on the front; a gilt leaf stalk decorates the back. The vase sits on a brass type metal base supported by three dragon heads with clawed feet.
The Japonesque styling combined with the Matsu-No-Ke decoration is just fabulous. The pictures don\'t begin to convey how wonderful this piece is. I believe this vase was made by Moser Glass but it might also have been made by Stevens & Williams, Frederick Carder - Steuben, Baccarat, or ?? Circa late 1800\'s.Size: top 3 1/2\" diameter; 12 1/4\" high;
Condition: no damage to glass; some wear to gold - see pics; dirt residue inside which I have not tried to clean
