This is a beautiful blade marked US Navy Ka-Bar fighting knife. It might have had a touch up on the edge, no rust or pitting, blade marked on one side USN and on the reverse side Ka-Bar. Under a loup you can see the USMC that was overstamped by the USN and then parkerized. VERY rare variation that is undocumented in most books. It has some sheath wear on towards the tip as shown, just a fantastic knife. The handle has the original rich brown leather, not dried up or split/damaged. The pommel is tight, peened, no movement. Sheath has a puck on the front as shown, the strap is good, not ripped or split, stitched and stapled sheath, not too many more around in this condition.
