This rug hook is turned and assembled in our shop in Shelby, Ohio. We make a variety of handle shapes and this one we call the Pinkie Gripper since while holding the hook your little finger naturally slips into the gently curved groove. This makes it easier to pull wool loops through the background fabric. The overall length of the hook is about 6 \"
The handle is made of Laminated, brightly colored, wood that has a polished finish that will last for years. The shank diameter is 5/16\" so it opens a really nice size hole to easily pull size 6-10 (3/16\" thru 1/2\") wool strips.
