Please judge for yourself the condition of the artefact from the pictures and if it’s in a condition you would be happy with. Shot coins like this were created by soldiers in the trenches when they would often shoot coins as part of sharp shooter competitions within regiments or used as a target for zeroing a rifle (i.e. setting up the sights to be accurate). I recently bought a lot of trench art pennies from a WWI collector who had found them while detecting on the WWI French frontline and bought through various sources.
