For sale is a new mic converter-adapter for vintage Shure microphones, such as the 51, 55, 55S, 55SW, 708. It will also fit the Astatic 77 mic. Now you can use readily available XLR cables on your vintage Shure microphones!Plug the adapterinto your vintage Shure mic, tighten the locking ring and you now have a mic that uses XLR cables. If you later want to convert the mic back to the Shure 3-pin cables, simply remove the adapter and the microphone is restored to original condition. The adapter is hand-crafted in my shop in theU.S.A. and is aheavy-duty unit. It should last as long as your vintage mics. The converter is guaranteed for one year against defects in materials or workmanship.
