This listing is for a signed and dated Italian bronze figure of the Greek god Narcissus mounted on a round marble base. This bronze and base measures 22 ¾ inches or 57.7 cm high and is 10 inches or 25.4 cm wide at the base.
The bronze figure is mounted on a round marble base. The figure is the nude Narcissuswith an animal skin hanging over his shoulder.He is shown looking down and with his right arm extended out in front of him. The bronze has dark chocolate brown patina or color, which is all original. The top of the base is signed, but is hard to make out with the exception of the date “1905”.
It is in very good condition with only minor variations to the patina. Please see the many photographs for more on the look and condition of this fine bronze as they are an important part of the description.
