Description: Catawba Swirl-ware body with fine Alkaline Glaze. Large eyes set high on the shoulder, elongated ears and a row of five broken China teeth. The smaller aperture below the main birdhouse opening is for a perch. The base with a crisp stamp reading: B.B. CRAIG / VALE, N.C.
Condition: Excellent, as-made condition. No chips, cracks, repaired damage or other excuses. Inherent glaze and firing anomalies noted for descriptive accuracy.
