Original Stevengraph woven by Thomas Stevens in the 1880s. Original mount (matt) with a modern over mountand new modern frame.
"The First Train", as the subtitle announces was built by George Stephenson in 1825 and shows the famous 'Rocket' locomotive. Quite a scarce Stevengraph.
Condition: The colours are reasonably well preserved but the mount has seen better days with considerable age browning and two cracks on each side of the sides. The over mount is new and the frame is new. There is nothing on the back.
