Description A superb large heavyEnglishantique Edwardian solid sterling silverdesk inkwell sold by ASPREY of London and with a full set of English silver hallmarks forBirmingham 1908.Excellent quality genuine 107 year old example, impressive size with a handsome shape and having a nice smooth polished finish. Has a hinged silver lid and is complete with both of its original glass inkwells, a heavy interior glass inkwell with a star cut base and also a small removable glass inkwell, both are undamaged and are rare to find. Made from a substantial thick gauge of silver and has a total weight of 457 grams, complete. Small monogram partially erased from the lid and no longer readable.
