SILVER CANDLESTICKS

A beautiful pair of solid silver weighted candlesticks by the maker Thomas Bradbury & Sons, one hallmarked for London 1898, the other for Sheffield 1921 but they are both identical.

This impressive pair of candlesticks are of the desirable corinthian column form. They feature stepped bases withgadrooned highlights, above which are panels decorated with urns and foliate scrolls. Theplain columns are embossed with swags and bows andare topped by acanthus leaf decorated capitals and removable gadrooned sconces. The quality of all the decoration is stunning and very crisp. The sconces have matching partial hallmarks.

These fabulous candlesticks are inexcellent order with nocreases, holesor repairs. They havea fewtiny pin head dings at the bases, but they are much better than the vast majority of the these type of sticks, one of the bases has a very slight wobble. The candlesticks stand25.5cms tall and have a combined weight of 1750 grams.

A pair of sticks to grace any dining table or mantlepiece and of a very desirable design, they really do display beautifully. Being sold with , full refund on return if not delighted.
