This is a 12 inch Tammy doll that was made by Ideal in the early 1960\'s. IDEAL Toy Corp BS-12 5 is stamped on her back. IDEAL Toy Corp BS-12 is stamped on the back of her neck. Tammy has full blonde hair that is wavy and it looks like she may have had a braided bun at one time. Her hair is messy, but intact. She has pretty painted blue eyes, red lips and blushing cheeks. Her body and torso are a harder plastic but her head and arms are a softer vinyl. She is wearing a dark blue and white striped strapless dress.
She is in great shape for her age. Her dress has age-related dirt but is intact. There are 2 snaps in the back. One works fine. One is attached only on one end and needs to be re-attached on the other side. It just needs a few stitches. The strapless dress falls down a bit now but should be fine once the snap is reattached. The colors on her face a still vibrant and her body is in great shape.
