I have seen Confederate Artillery Buttons made in London with ahorizontal lined field which are rare.

This is the first one that I have seen with the lines radiating fromthe A.

The back is missing but the front has nice detail.

This button more than likely originated in London, ran the Blockade andthen traveled to Arkansas.

Probably popped off the Confederate Soldier’s jacket and ended up inthe dirt then found by me.

You are offerding on the Artillery button. The other buttons shown were found in thesame location and are freebies to the winner of the sale.

Could be a nice grouping of Confederate Camp Artifacts showing the typeof buttons used by the soldiers in the Trans-Mississippi Theater.

All buttons were dug around Devalls Bluff, Arkansas near the WhiteRiver which was a staging area for both Confederate and Union Forces during thewar.

I\'ve not seen another like this one. Too bad I\'ts not complete but the best part is there. Great for display for the serious collector.

Thanks for looking. Good luck!

The 3rd photo is the back of the Artillery Button.
It still amazes me that neither Confederate nor Union soldiers could keep their buttons on their clothes or ammo in their cartridge boxes.
The South is littered with buttons and bullets.
