This is an Original American Revolution eranote (\"Continental Currency\")from Massachusetts. Denomination: \"SEVEN DOLLARS\". Dated \"(?) Day of May, 1780\". Size: approx. 2 3/4\" by 3 1/2\". Color: Heavy tan/brown paper, w/Black &Red over-printing. Hand-signed & numbered in brown ink. Note is in Nice Condition overall, but has been \"cut-canceled\" at the center; otherwise, o.k. Note grades VF+ or slightly better. Front side has a Nice decorative border surrounding a statement of release + the words \"SEVEN DOLLARS/State of Massachusett\'s Bay\" at the top, while the back/reverse side has a large \"UNITED STATES/SEVEN DOLLARS\" + a large engraving of the state seal in the middle + Printed by HALL and SELLERS\" at the bottom.
