Pamphlet is 9\" by 6\", 32 pages stapled

Pages 13-20 have come off of the staples and are loose (see 3rd picture). All other pages are still attached to the stapled binding.

Writing on the inside cover. Appears that this belonged to \"Hazel Montgomery U.S. Marines\". Additional inscription appears to have been made by the recruiter \"Instructions just received permits you to enlist for either two, three or four years. Those (sic) provisions goes (sic) into effect immediately.\"

Page 28 has a sentence highlighted in red \"In case the insured is disabled he will receive $5.75 per month for each thousand dollars of insurance he carries for so long as he may live.\"

This is great historical readfor anyone interested in knowing what joining the Marines in 1919 had to offer.
