As you can see this is a great looking, chunky silver pepper shaker from Kashmir,India, very attractivelydecorated in reliefas pictured.
Datingfrom sometime circa 1880 / 1890,the pot standsapproximately 3.5\" tall and it weighs 4.65 imp.ounces / 4.21 troy /131.7 grams.
The lid fits tightly as it should, but itpulls off quite easily for filling.
Unmarked as so often these items are but it has beensuccessfully tested as silver.
There is no particular damage to report anywhere as far as I can tell.
