You are offerding on an original early Victor smooth mahogany phonograph horn for an outside horn phonograph. It has original finish, but is very alligatored. Unfortunately, there is a dent in the side. I’ve taken several photos of this damage. I believe a good woodworker could repair this to be fairly unnoticeable. I believe the wood is almost all there, just pushed in. The horn is roughly 18 ¼ inches across the bell, and 19 inches in length. There is no evidence of it having a decal, and it has the original horn end, which is tight. I’ve had this type horn in oak, but have never seem a mahogany version, so I don’t think this is very common. It is definitely worthy of restoration, and should be put back on a phonograph.
