Excellent 14K solid gold nib with a FINEtip and long, very flexible \"NOODLE\" tines. The pen measures 5.25\"(134mm) capped. A very collectible and early model! The high grade gold filledoverlay is bright and clean. The pen has no chips, cracks or monograms! Whatfew minor pings might be found hide very well in the elaborate designs, and areonly found on very close inspection. Surface area is clean, very glossy (photosmay show some lint on pen from the buffing cloth, reflections, glares and/orshadows)! This fountain pen is clean and ready for ink! The 14K solid gold nibreads: AIKIN LAMBERT & Co - No. 3. Solid gold nib is a FINE tipped nib,long, very Flexible \"noodle\" tines, with tines aligned and goodtipping material.
