Shown is a ‘ VINTAGE TOOLED LEATHER RIFLE SCABBARD .‘ Made by the noted saddle maker \' E.T. AMONETT - ROSWELL, NM \'. 29 inches long, so probably custom made for a carbine. Nicely tooled details. Heavy duty stictching. Straps are a bit dry and show cracking, but are intact. Scabbard shows use and age, but is in overall very good condttion. Could use some glycerene or a leather treatment, but ok as it sits. Nice vintage scabbard by a noted maker.....
