click picture to enlarge We are offering a stunning early vintage 1953 strung Vogue Ginny doll named \"Pamela\". She is #60 from the Debutante Series of dolls and rarely found in this condition. Pamela comes to you with her original marked \"Pamela\" silver wrist tag & \"A Vogue Doll\" on the other. There are no repro parts or pieces and doll has not been redone! Pamela is wearing her factory original tagged complete outfit with original purse and hat. This doll is like she stepped out of a time capsule in our opinion. She is a beautiful blonde haired strung doll with exceptionally nice coloring and visible light Tosca brows and lashes. She has desirable and often sought after brown eyes that do need assistance to open and close which is common and acceptable to most collectors. She has no touchups, no restyling of hair and no repro parts or pieces. She is hard plastic, marked on her back Vogue Doll and retains her original rubber band stringing which seems to be holding fine. Pamela\'s hair is a gorgeous light blonde that is full with no bald spots and no glue residue; has not been washed or restyled. This beautiful hard plastic 8\" Ginny has no cracks, splits or repairs. She comes to you wearing her beautiful pink organdy lace and ribbon trimmed dress with flocked green top; factory tagged (see photos). Top shows no rubs which is common usually and is still in beautiful condition overall. It should be noted that we have seen this outfit replaced with green velveteen fabric on top by some talented sewer(s) ; this is not replaced & guaranteed factory original. This is the same flocked material which tends to be a little stiff that they used on the early Karen outfit too from 1952. Pamela\'s dress is trimmed with the original cluster of flowers and velvet ribbon which also match the ones on her hat and purse. Pamela wears her original correct and perfect pink organdy matching panties (not repro ones) with perfect elastic in waist and legs. Her white stiff tulle trimmed slip is original, correct and vintage & not a remake with great elastic waist, no repairs and no holes or wear. Her beautiful faux straw hat compliments her outfit so well with the original matching flowers (one cluster on each side, hard to see all the flowers but they are there) and original green velvet ribbon tie which is excellent/mint, not frayed. We did take her hat off to photograph her hair so that you could see the condition and carefully put it back. Pamela\'s original pink triangular purse has the same flower decoration as on the dress and hat; as issued by Vogue in 1953. All flowers are original, not replacements. Her pink rayon socks and green oil cloth center snap shoes are both in great condition with the shoes having strong snap attachments with no repairs. This is one beautiful Ginny and would be worthy of a special place in most collections. As is customary for us, a complimentary doll stand is included so you can display her right away and enjoy. We think the most discriminating collector would be very pleased to add this special doll to their collection. We are not the original owner but by looking at her you can tell that she appears never to have been played with, not redone and just tucked away for years.
