Up for sale is a old antique early 1900s German made \"Stradiuarius\" 2 pc back full size violin for setup/restoration. The lightly figured 2 pc. curly maple back measures 14 1/8 by 8 inches. There are no bassbar or soundpost cracks on the violin. The scroll and pegbox are in good condition and the neck is solid. The fingerboard and pegs are ebony. The pegs turn smoothly and the fingerboard is in nice condition. The soundpost is standing inside the violin and there are no open seams. The violin had been setup with Super Sensitive strings. They are in like new condition as they look like they havent been played on. The violin is labelled as a \"Stradiuarius Made in Germany\". The violin is for setup/restoration. The violin has age related scratches/wearmarks on the varnish (please check pics). The violin has a solid repair in the button area of the back. The repair is stable and holding (please check pics).
