Description:

This sale is for a great vintage, if not antique quilt top that surely dates to the 1920s or 30s ~ perfect for the quilter, decorator or the collector. This and other items we now have listed have been purchased at the recent rural Kansas estate sale. This listing:

was found at a farm sale

shown on a full size bed

perfectly hand pieced

done in the Rainbow Tile (from the Romance of the Patchwork Quilt in America) also known as Diamond Field and Martha Washington\'s Flower Garden

has not been laundered so no fraying threads on the backside

fabric surely dates to the early 1900s and printed with tiny florals and plaids

the blocks are 10 inches by 16 inches

the top measures 90 by 78 inches

the only flaws noted were a couple of light yellow spots (too faint to show in photos) and a few brown age specks

cotton fabric yardage ~ no feedsack fabric noted ~ pre feedsack era

great cottons of the very early 1900s that include florals, solids, novelty and more

appears to have been created and tucked away and forgotten

perfect project for the quilter to complete

straight from the sale

no odors noted

I have not laundered
