This old souvenir jacket is dated 1952~1953 on the back and is made of wool with satin lining.The embroidery on the back seems to suggest that the owner, very likely an American soldier or sailor, family name Pulsipher, toured three countries during the Korean War years: Japan, Korea and China.
The embroidery on the back is excellent in the details of the dragon. The two dragons on the pockets are also well executed. The guy manning the rickshaw and the junk have less detail, to some degree, and are the only two embroideries where some minor damage is visible.
The zipper is a truly old Serval, made in the USA.
The jacket is rather small; it measures, when flat, as follows: 21\" across the chest, pit to pit; 22 1/2\" from shoulder seam to edge of cuff; 20\" from underarm seam to edge of cuff; 20\" shoulder to shoulder across the front of the jacket; 23\" from collar seam to edge of waistband along the back.
We believe it would fit a man size small, or a lady with the right measurements. The main issue with the size is of course the length of the sleeves, which seem to us a bit short, please be aware of that.
