Amazingly beautiful French lisere satin brocade from about the mid century. Gorgeous palette of a soft gray type green (similar to a celadon or seafoam but a bit softer, very pretty shade) accented with rose, a hint of yellow, light blue & brown. Absolutely adore this. A more modern mid century interpretation of the classic 18thc brocaded silks in the style of Marie Antoinette/ Louis XVI. This is mid density and is a synthetic blend of it\'s period originally intended for home interiors/furnishings. Circa probably the 1950\'s, 60\'s time frame.An excellent piece for pillows and decorative upholstery as well as windows. Would also make wonderful bags/totes/clutches and I think could be very interesting used in clothing elements & millinery. Perfect for French country settings as well as shabby French or French cottage.Condition is very nice, may have been very lightly utilized or an unfinished projects. In very good order to work with. I have not laundered this though appears clean & well maintained. I noted just a very slight hint of fade at the very outer edge, not detracting in the least & does not effect the dimensions on this piece.Measures 26-27 inches wide by 21 inches long ~ I can keep as many as 3 in one length uncut (so for example a quantity of 3 would be 26\"-27\" wide by 63\"-64 inches long, a bit over 1 1/2 yards). The quantity button allows you to select from the available quantity in increments of 26-27\" wide by 21\" long. At the time of this listing, I am also listing a panel that is wider for anyone that needs more width in their project.
