Up for sale is a very rare Hurd Caster from my own collection. This Hurd Caster is in amazing condition, an absolute must have if you collect Hurds! It comes with the original case which is in like new condition. The condition of this Hurd Caster is just gorgeous. It works flawlessly, spins easily, has a good level wind gear, good pawl, spare parts found in screw cap on reel, and has a nice strong click. It looks as if this Hurd was not used at all throughout the years. Will be very tough to find a better one. It measures in total length 48\". The rod has three guides that are all in great shape. The plastic handle is in wonderful condition and stamped with the Hurd Caster logo. The serial number can hopefully be seen in picture #6 and reads 1124H1. This is certainly one that is hard for me to let go, but someone who specializes in collecting Hurds should enjoy this one.
