in decent condition.looks like the scabbard had surface rust and someone cleaned it. you can still see some inside the ornate pieces. would clean up more but chrome has been stained, no pitting, some scratches.has a 43 or 48 stamped on one piece. sword also has some surface rust in spots, would clean up morebut probably staining also. thanks for looking
