A vintage, 1940\'s, all composition doll by Madame Alexander of the character Alice in Wonderland.  This doll has open and close hazel eyes and a strawberry blond wig (all look original).  Her arms, head, and legs are jointed.  She is marked on the back of the head \" ALEXANDER \".  She is wearing her original dress (with attached bloomers & slip), pinafore, stockings, and shoes.  This doll measures approximately 17\" tall.  She is in good condition with no apparent crazing to the composition.  Her hair is messy and a little thin in the back.  Her legs, arms, and head are loose and may need to be re-strung (if she is to be posed).  Her dress and pinafore are in very good condition.  Her socks or stockings are stretched out, one shoe is missing the heel, and the other shoe\'s snap is torn off (but still there).  This doll has very little wear to the composition and very little soiling.  A lovely, old, Madame Alexander Doll to fix up a little and add to any collection.
