Madame Alexander 21” Cissyin a Rare Tulle Pink Evening Gown ~ 1961
This stunning MadameAlexander 21” Cissy is wearing a rare tulle pink gown with a cascade offlowers. She needs a doll lover tostring her back together, and brighten up her dress. The flowers are in wonderful condition. The tulle and under skirt are in greatcondition, just faded by age.The dress hasmanylayers: two layers of tulle, two layers oforgandy, and a pink crinoline slip that is attached to the dress. Thereis a small thin hole in the back bottom of the dress about 1/4 of an inch on the tulle andunderskirt. It is hard to see in all thefolds. The dress is tagged with a crispy "Cissette", which isinteresting because it is clearly for a 21 inch doll.She is wearing white panties. She sparkles with rhinestone dangling earrings,and a purple solitaire ring. She wears alavender bow on the top of her head. She is wearing lavender sandals that fither perfectly and match her gown. Shehas hose with a seam up the back that fit her snuggly. She was found with a Bullock’s tag on herwrist.
She is a red head withblue eyes that have a golden sparkle in the light. Her eyes stillfunction and her eyelashes are original. She has light brown two-stroke eyebrows.Her red lipstick and light grey eye shadoware all original. Her hair is in great condition with itsoriginal hairstyle and the original pins that hold her hair in place. Herbody is in excellent condition, as there are no cracks, tears, or odors. Her neck is clear and clean with no smudgeswhere the head swivels. She has her two original leg hooks. She comes in a Madame Alexander box that still has thesalmon-colored tissue paper. This is not her original box.
Thisbeautiful Cissycame from my great grandmother's beloved collection. She was a seriousdoll collector her entire life. Herhusband built her a doll room to enjoy and show off her collection, completewith its own air conditioning. This dollwas in the same smoke-free home its entire life. Never been played with,only adored. My great grandmother’s doll collection brought her much joy,and I know this beautiful doll will bring you joy as well.
She is absolutely gorgeousand would make a wonderful addition to any collection.
