Melody Banjo Uke, most likely made in the United Kingdom around 1950. Plastic 7.5\" head. Sounds real punchy. Action is medium to high-ish and plays nice up to the 12th fret. Aquilla Nylgut strings. Original friction peg tuners should be replaced--$10 at the local music shop and you\'re ready to go! This was a lower-level uke but is great to bring along to festivals and jams or to add some extra rhythm to your string band.
