Stunning large all original Chiltern Hugmee mohair Teddy Bear. Approximately 19 inches high. Dating I believe to the 1950\'s. Five ways jointed.
This gorgeous big bear has a very good covering of \"honey\" coloured brown mohair. He has glass orange eyes with black pupils. A vertically stitched shield shaped nose.
He has velvet paw pads. Five black stitched claws to his feet which feel like they have cardboard inserts. No claws on his arm pads. His legs are quite short and chubby.
His body feels like its been stuffed with kapok. His head feels like it\'s stuffed with wood wool.
Approximately 19 inches high. Quite heavy. Unpacked weight is 870g.
Condition. Excellent all original condition. Good covering of long \"fur\". Small tear to the velvet foot pad on the left foot, best seen in picture 9 . I can find no other damage. He really is a very lovely bear.
