Offered is lovely vintage Native American-made (Pima/ Akimel O\'odham) Basket. This measures 10 3/4\" across by approx. 3 1/2\" deep. This is very sturdy, almost as if it is made with a willow base as the Apache baskets, but it appears to have a very tightly woven grass base.
The design is still apparent but faded a bit. Around rim and in the dark part of the design, the stitches have some shininess--like juncus, but it is most likely devil\'s claw.
Some broken stitches and rubbed areas as expected with age. Please see pictures.

Many of our Quill Boxes come from Manitoulin Island, where we spend part of each summer.
