For sale is a very cool early pocket watch mounted on a Trench watch style strap. The watch is a size 12 Waltham, serial number 18685989, which dates it to 1912. The watch is in excellent overall condition, is in good running order, and keeping the time. The strap is a typical military style strap, and the watch mount is a military grade Maratac holder. The holder is machined from single pieces of stainless steel and is incredibly well made. It holds the watch tightly and allows for adjustment of the crown while wearing. In a way, this type of watch arrangement is more practical than wearing an actual \"Trench watch\", primarily because the pocket watch movement is often superior. Many early WWI watches were actually converted pocket watches.
