Up for sale is this beautifully crafted vintage piece from Muriel Originals for the upscale clothier Swim & Sun Fashions in Miami, FL. I am guessing this is a size medium as for most of the clothes that came out of this estate were medium. There is no size tag. It has all the earmarks of the early 1960s, including the attention to detail common to manufactured pieces of the era. This was made for a lady, worn by a lady and meant to be passed on to a woman of style, substance and character.

A few notes on dating this piece to the early 60s: This has a center back metal zipper by TALON. The structured bust is designed for shape and elastic panels along the back sides for stretch. The shoulder straps are adjustable and can also be worn as a halter tied at the nape. This garment has a front pleat in the skirt although the undershorts are never exposed as befits a lady. The MURIEL Original label shows a Miami, FL address with no zip code. Zip codes were used beginning in 1963 for the postal service to keep up with growing demands. The RN# included on the manufacture label can be dated to the 50s-60s. High-quality construction and classic 50s/60s appeal make this an outstanding addition to any vintage enthusiast\'s wardrobe.
