Up for sale is an all metaldisplay model of a Fokker F28 Felowship made by Fairchild. This model came from the estate of a WWII pilot who went on to work as an aviation contractor. He was a contractor on this plane and was given the display model. This model was built and tested but never actually went into production. It was developed into a different model. This desk model has the Rolls-Royce \"Spey Junior\" turbofans which were used on the prototype. Theplane is15 1/2\"long x 13\" wide x 4\" tall. The model shows light signs of age but is in very nice condition. It is made from cast aluminum and weighs 2 pounds not including the stand. I have a few other desk model from his estate listed in separate sales. It is fresh out of a recent estate.
