WATERMAN 12 EARLY MOTTLED HARD RUBBER, EXTRA FLEXIBLE 'WET NOODLE' NIB
Price: US $432.01

Waterman 12 in mottled red and black hard rubber. Charming and functional accommodation clip.

The nib is a nice long-tined Waterman No. 2, a very flexible medium point. It requires only a little pressure to make the tines separate, and the maximum width of the downstroke is very wide, almost 3mm. It's possible to write without shading, but only with concentration. I'd therefore call it a wet noodle. See the writing samples.

Eyedrop filler. The section unscrews as it should, and you drop the ink directly in the barrel. Length is about 5 1/4 inches.

A great looking older Waterman that's really fun to use.

ITEM 2056

The writing samples are made using the pen itself, dipped inParker Quink blackink. The paper is a Rhodia pad with 5mm squares.
