Hi, you are offerding on a vintage Big Loo robot made by Louis Marx Company in 1963. There were approximately 5,000 of these made initially. Very few of these are still around. Loo comes with some of his accessories. He has his whistle, the compass, the grenade, and a missile. I have another missile, I don't think it came with him originally but I will include it just in case. Overall, Big Loo is in pretty good condition considering that he is over 50 years old. The crank on the back of this head is broken (very common on these) but it still turns. The voice function doesn't work, it makes a chirping sound instead when the crank is turned but it may be fixable. I didn't try because I didn't want to damage him. The eyes still light up. I only have one of the original bulbs which is included but it is burnt out. I will include the 2 new ones that I purchased to test him and the 1 original one. There is a piece of his shoulder that broke off while I was bringing him home from where I found him. It will be easy to glue back on if you choose to do it, it will be included as well. There are a couple of holes on the base (please see pics) where it looks like something rubbed through the plastic. The compass is still in the base and works. He is missing the balls that shoot out of his arm but the mechanism that fires them appears to be fully functional. He is also missing the darts that shoot out of his chest so I have not been able to test that function. The morse code sticker is still present on the back. The claw on his arm is fully functional and can easily pick up the grenade. He is also still able to bend at the waist. I am not the original owner but all pieces appear to be original and not reproductions. If you would like to purchase reproduction pieces to complete the figure, there are websites that offer them.
Postage will be high for this piece due to the size. I will charge exact shipping only, no upcharge. The figure will be packaged well, I want him to get to you in the same condition as he is now. I am a collector as well so I will pack him as I would want one of my purchases to be packed. I will ship the next business day after payment is received. I will also offer local pickup for no charge but please only choose this option if you are able to meet in the Plano/North Dallas Texas area.
