Up for your offerding consideration we are offering this rare set of two original WW2 era Japanese Internment Camp posters, issued by the Presidio of San Francisco in 1942. One is instruction poster for Japanese U.S. citizens showing assembly point for transportation to various camps. Other is notice for the Civilian Exclusion Order No. 41 After the war ended, Japanese citizens were released from the camps, and brought to a central processing center. One of the soldiers there instructed many of them to sign this poster, giving their name and the camps they were interned at. There are about 50 or more signatures from camps in California, Arizona, Colorado, Utah, Arkansas and other states. Posters are in excellent condition with some smudges on Notice poster. A unique piece of WW2 Japanese internment camp memorabilia, from the estate of a serious military collector. Will make an excellent addition to your museum, archive or collection!
