An original WW2 rifle shooting manual,published by Gale & Polden in 1943. It was intended for use by servicemen and Home Guards who would have been issued with either the Enfield P14 Rifle or the S.M.L.E. Mk III. Subjects covered include: firing positions, marksmanship, aiming, sights, judging distance, trigger pressing, safety, maintenance, aids to shooting, the use of the sling, and the bayonet. The book is very well illustrated throughout with diagrams and black and white plates.
Condition:
In good condition.The card cover is in good condition, with some marks, and general signs of use. The stapled binding is secure, although the original staples are rusty. The text and illustrations are in good condition.
