Very good condition and guaranteed original WWI British P14Enfield bayonet that is marked “W” on the left side blade ricasso forproduction by Winchester in the USA, and dated 1-17 for January 1917. Rightside ricasso has British proof marks. Blade has correct original metal finishof blue and the base and remaining gray. Remaining metal finish is mostlybright and gray with a little blue and brown. Wood grips have original finishand a good tight fit with some normal handling marks, lock button functionsfine. Fitted in an original US Model 1917 Enfield leather scabbard that hassteel throat and tip. Leather is soft and supple with some normal wear, makermarked GK. May have been refinished at some point. A scarce Winchester P14 Enfieldbayonet that will make a fine addition to your collection.
