Signed and Dated Japanese Wakizashi sword in Koshirae decorated mountings

●Japanese Wakizashi sword in Koshirae decorated mountings

●Sword registration issued by Tokyo Metropolitan Board of Education(copy(as original shall be returned to the local authority))
Appealing Points:
● Year 1730 made Edo antique Japanese Wakizashi sword in fine condition.
●Smithed by Kaneyoshi (兼吉) of Senjuin School (千手院). Beautifully forged.
●The blade is signed and is \"Ura-nenki\" dated, which is precious.
● Koshirae mountings are in the same set, which is called \"Issaku\" in Japanese.
●Tsuba guard is \"Sukashi\" transparent type and is nicely designed.
● The blade is well polished and is in excellent condition.
● The blade is very well forged and has wonderful forging grains.

Condition:
The blade is well polished and is in very good condition with some minor flaws and scratches, which are not fatal. Koshirae mountings are in very good condition with normal wears seen in items of this age. Two of four Seppa washers are made of rubber to better fit Tsuba guard. Sold as-is.
