Commodore 64 C64 Breadbin Vintage Computer - RESTORED and TESTED. This machine has a 250407 board. The ICs are production from 1983. It has the 8 pin video port. The case has the 3 clips and all standoffs but it is not perfect externally with some marking on the back and sides. It runs well but it is not museum quality. This condition is shown in the photos and I\'ve priced it accordingly.
Commodore 64 breadbin computer unit only, does not include any power supply, monitor, accessories (shown in photos for testing purposes only).I completely disassembled this system and cleaned it inside and out including the keyboard and keys. The PLA on this unit was non-functional so I added a socket and replaced it with a PLAnkton module which is fully compatible with the original PLA with better power and heat performance. Two DRAM ICs were also defective and were socketed and replaced. The VIC heat shield was replaced with new artic silver thermal paste and I\'ve added heat sinks to the SID and CPU to help get some extra life out the them, since this model board did not originally ship with any heat management for these chips. The system was run through 100 rounds of the diagnostic cartridge with a test harness as shown.Shipped well packed and fully insured with USPS Priority.
This system was fully tested as shown and is in the condition shown in the photos. Due to the nature of vintage computers no warranty is provided and no returns are accepted. Please do not use original power supplies with C64 computers. Consider a quality modern replacement (I personally use the C64 PSU by Electroware but I have no affiliation, you can get them from their shop on ).
