Local Storage - 4K 60 FPS and videos play smoothly with no issues when VLC's hardware-accelerated decoding is disabled. Lower resolutions don't need to have that setting disabled for smooth playback.

Notes & Observations:
- For some reason, Steam and its games are limited to utilizing four CPU cores on this system, crippling gaming performance on any game that is slightly CPU-intensive. I don't know what causes this. The only fix for this problem to is to use the taskset command to allow Steam games to utilize more than four cores.
- Emulation performance is significantly better on CachyOS than Batocera. This is definitely related to the drivers the latter uses.
- Due to a recent influx of malicious packages in the AUR repository, AUR package managers such as yay has been omitted for better security. Use the AUR repo at your own risk.
- Blu-ray playback on PC without resorting to ripping the disc with MakeMKV or purchasing a license for a video player with Blu-ray support is somewhat difficult due to the AACS (Advanced Access Content System) encryption nonsense that format uses. Several libraries and a key database are needed for video players such as VLC, which omit those files for legal purposes, to playback those discs. For your convenience, those files have been installed by yours truly and VLC has been set to skip the interactive menus due to compatibility problems with newer versions of Java (it’s used for making the fancy interactive menus on that format).
