This open source board will let you create a floppy disk emulator SDISK II for the Apple II series computers. YOU MUST GATHER YOU OWN PARTS AND MUST KNOW HOW TO SOLDER SAFELY.
WHAT YOU GET
YOU GET THE PCB BOARD -- EITHER GREEN OR RED, DEPENDING ON AVAILABILITY. IF in doubt, please ask questions FIRST before buying! The voltage regulator (Toshiba TA48033S, TA48M033F, etc. 3-3.6V regulators whose center pin = GND) can be hard to get. You can substitute this voltage regulator with the right pinout and current requirements, etc.
The microcontroller is the Amega328P, and the best/trustworthy places to buy are Digikey or Mouser. For the 74HC125 logic chip, use the 74HCT125 version. which is easier to find (again on Digikey/Mouser), and is 100% compatible with the HCLS125 (old) version.
SD Card has to be SD and SDHC, any low capacity such as under 2GB. It needs to be FAT16 formatted.
