This is a good running, speedy laptop but there may be scratches, scuffs, minor cracks or dings, or other marks and wear as it is being sold used with some wear on the plastics such as the cover, palm rest, other areas, etc. Do not confuse cosmetic damage on the plastics of the laptop with how good the inside might be. The inside is fine. I refurbish and go thru each of these and test most things before putting them in the mail to you so rest assured that a good running laptop leaves my home before I ship it out.

This listing is for a good running 17 inch HUGE WIDESCREEN TRIPLE BOOTING Dell Inspiron E1705 laptop, with Windows 2000 Professional Sp4, XP Professional SP3, and Windows 7 Ultimate. The W2000 has installed Office 2000, which includes Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Access, etc. The W7 and XP have installed office 2010 which has the same sub programs. This laptop also has some various useful software and cleaning programs. This is considered to be a desktop replacement model.Triple booting means that you can start up the laptop in either W2000, or start it up in XP, or start it up in W7, every time you'd like.It has a HUGE 1 TB (1000 GB) hard drive split between the operating systems!

There are not very many Windows 2000 laptops out there anymore, heaven foroffer one with 3 GB of memory and tweaked for speed, so I have specially set a few of these up for people who need this set up for software they need to use in their office and for playing some older video games. It might be a good idea to keep a few in storage if you need to run specific software that only runs on Windows 2000. These laptops are pretty impossible to come by. When Windows 2000 came along, most laptops that are left from that time period have tiny memory and are pretty lame in processing power, so to find a laptop like this, powerful, and in this freshly installed state is pretty rare. It took me many hours to sort this out, find drivers, etc. This was no easy feat. The result is a much faster, fresh Windows 2000 that should serve you in top form for a long time to come.
You may or may not be able to access the internet (not wifi as W2000 did not come with wifi) if you wish to, but Windows 2000 internet capability is very lame compared to today's standards. It will be completely up to you to figure out how to get on the internet. The browser on here is Retrozilla, at the time of this listing the only browser that can work with W2000. There are features that this older version of browser cannot utilize that more recent operating systems can do such as watch youtube, etc. Most websites are inaccessible, etc. You may be able to surf the web, download stuff if the old browser lets you access it, and may or may not be able to check your email, etc. I am not responsible and do not refund if you can't get on the internet or access this or that on the internet or any other network.
The XP and Windows 7 of course have accessibility wirelessly with Firefox, but you can't do much on XP's wifi anymore. The browser makers haven't updated their browsers for XP in over 10 years.
It comes with the power adapter cord, DVD player/recorder, a Core Duo 1.73 GHz processor, 1000 GB hard drive and 3 GB ram. The battery is goodand the laptop also works fine with just the cord.
I have freshly installed everything (so no viruses like in many used computers). I also have a few other similar laptops available for purchase if you want to use one now and stash one or two for later use if you want to secure your ability to still use your softwares that won't work on Windows 10 or 11. A good powerful laptop with all these operating systems on it is basically unable to be found anywhere except from me. See my other items for more info. The laptop is sold AS-IS with no refunds. If you click "see other items", The search bar will say something like "search all 94 items" but when you look at the list it will say something like "62 results". This is an glitch. Put your cursor into the search bar and click on it. The words will disappear. Then hit enter. You will now see all 94 items or however many listings I currently have! Make sure if you are looking that you see everything!
